In the midst of hard economic times, is crucial that we take part in the debate. How our government spends money circumscribes how much money goes into our bank account. The less money we have in our pocket, translates to less that we can give to those who are in much more impoverished situations than we are. The national debt as of 09/03/09 is estimated at 11.7 Trillion dollars. That number is hard for many of us even to entertain, yet alone fathom. Many times we take for granted how much is being wasted because we have been so spoiled here in America. We wasted so much, from food to money to time, yet there are people all around us that would literally kill to have our scraps, the leftovers. It is time for America to tighten it’s spending belt and get down to business.
